SHRI NIMBARKA SAMPRADAYA
SHRI NIMBARKA SAMPRADAYA is one of the most ancient of the VAISHNAVA SAMPRADAYS and is based on the DWAITADWAIT philosophy first PROPOUNDED BY HANS BHAGWAN to SHRI SANKADI BHAGWAN then TO SHRI NARADA MUNI and then on to SHRI SUDARSHANA, CHAKRAVATAR, JAGAT GURU SHRI NIMBARKACHARYA. The basic tenet consists of the worship of SHRI RADHA MADHAV with SHRI RADHE being personified as the inseparable part of SHRI KRISHNA.
The unbroken line of the SAMPRADAYA beginning from BHAGWAN SHRI NIMBARKACHARYA has now continued for more than five thousand years tilldate. Presently the head of the SAMPRADAYA is his holiness Jagadguru Nimbarkacharya Shri Shriji Maharaj
Brindavan, Nandgram, Barsana and Govardhan are the chief Kshetras or holy lands of the followers of Nimbarkacharya. Parikrama of the 168 miles of Brij Bhumi is their foremost duty.
